i should really introduce myself... my name is S.J, i have recently joined the band Hot Machero... dont knock the name, we're gonna be big! i can hear you sniggering, you'll all be laughing on the other side of your faces when we get to the Britts! (plants feet again firmly on the floor and starts to repeat slowly to herself "Summer Fate, it's just Summer Fate!") so anyways... we had our first rehearsal the other week, it went well... i've been sent away to learn a few songs (we're just covering a few songs at the moment... you know, to get in the swing of things!)... at the moment the Hot Machero play list consists of ABACAB - Genesis ~ which i can sing pretty well, Veritgo - U2 ~ which i finally got the hang of, With Or Without You - U2 ~ im ok at this, not great, but it's good, Wanna Hold Your Hand - The Beatles ~ again i can sing this pretty well, Why Does It Always Rain On Me - Travis ~ not bad, not bad, Sing - Travis ~ which ironically i cant get it right, i'll get there in the end.... and a few others.... i think there's about 12 songs in totall including a few from Green Day, which i think i have the perfect voice for... not to blow my own trumpet or anything!... anyways, back to the band... we're still to find a drummer, although i have been informed we have another gutairist... so now we have 1 bassest, and 2 rythem gutairists.... although saying that 1 of the gutairist, namely my auntie, can play any instrament she lays her hands on, so i guess that could be usefull! oh and a vocalist - ME! i have also been informed that our next rehearsal will be in a hall we have hired for free (people are already recognising the skills!)... so should be fun!
